About Us

The Mission Statement for Ashburton College Friends is to preserve the school's history, foster friendships and maintain community links with the school. The organisation hopes to preserve the history of the three schools, facilitate reunions and social contact between past classmates and friends, let people know about the changes and achievements that are happening at Ashburton College today and to promote a closer liaison between Ashburton College and the community it serves now and served in the past.

The Website is the main access point for people to be able to join Ashburton College Friends. It will have regularly updated photographs of people, classes and groups from the past and present. It will advertise social events and reunions, let the public know what is happening at Ashburton College today and have information about the history of secondary schooling in the Ashburton District.

At the Annual General Meeting held on 28 June 2006 the following positions were filled.
